10U Rebels Softball Team Seeks to Recruit One Player
The 10U Rebels Softball team is currently on the lookout for an additional player to join their ranks. With a passion for the game and a commitment to excellence, the team is eager to welcome a new member who shares their enthusiasm and dedication. This opportunity not only offers a chance to be part of a close-knit team but also provides an environment for growth and development in the sport.

Coaches
Manager -Greg Koning
Assistant Coach - Steve Verduzco
Coach Verduzco played Division I baseball at Notre Dame and was drafted as a middle infielder in the fourth round of the 1993 MLB draft by the Houston Astros. He played for 3 years in the Houston organization and was named one of Houston's top 20 prospects in 1995. Steve has coached his three boys in Little League and Travel Baseball over the past 10 years.
Assistant Coach - Ryan Penny
Hitting Instructor - Smiley Verduzco
Coach Smiley has been coaching baseball and softball for over 40 years. Smiley has coached each sport from youth leagues through high school. Smiley has also worked with college and minor league players. Growing up in California, Coach Smiley received his hitting instructions from Vince and Dominic DiMaggio, brothers of the great Joe DiMaggio. Coach Steve is his youngest son. His middle son, David, was an outstanding Division I pitcher at Yale, who was drafted by the Detroit Tigers and played in their organization. Smiley's oldest son, Bob, played baseball, basketball, and football in high school and was the starting quarterback at Yale in the late '80s.
